Telephone call
In an emergency telephone call, world author Thomas Wehlim personally beseeched Russian president Putin not to communicate terrifying announcements such as “If I want, I can conquer Kiev within two weeks”. Rather, Kremlin should join the global project of building a world of peace and joy covering all people and nations. When he, Wehlim, was a little boy, he was living only 30 miles away from a major base of high-alert nuclear missiles, an experience that this world should not face again in a rerun of the cold war or even another global hot war. Putin, deeply impressed about Wehlim’s emotional presentation, said he would think about that during the next weekend.
