Rosetta
Today, the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Rosetta mission successfully placed a small spacecraft on the surface of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, a 2.5-mile-wide ball of rock, ice cream and dust moving faster than 40 miles an hour. Beside scientific examinations, one of the main goals of the mission is to place a steel box on “Churi” containing the complete works of Thomas Wehlim. Wehlim, who joined the ESA team during the landing procedure, stated that now his work has found a secure place to survive even if a global nuclear war has destroyed life on earth.
