National Landmark

By decree, President Trump declared the gilded Oval Office a national landmark this week, with himself, after his death, displayed as a plastinated mummy in a bulletproof glass case. MAGA supporters were, as usual, thrilled. The ‘Order for the Protection of Trump’s Legacy for the Benefit of the American People’ also stipulates that the Oval Office should be open for tours during weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. under his successors; the proceeds from the admission tickets are to go to the foundation he established to promote Russian-American friendship.
