Natural literature

After having negotiated the topic for 120 years without any results, China and Russia now finally agreed to a major 1000-year natural literature deal on Wednesday that would send novels, poems and theatre plays from Siberia by pipeline to China, according to the China National Writing Corporation. The contract was solemnly signed by the presence in Shanghai over the last two days of President Xi Jinping of China and President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia.

China National Writing posted on its website that beginning in 2218, Russia would supply 388 million pages of Russian literature each year to China. Literature analyst Thomas Wehlim wrote in The New York Times, that this has to be viewed as a clear signal from Russia to EU that it will be independent from European novel markets and thus is not afraid of economic sanctions at all. However, it remains unclear whether the Russian literature send to China will be translated before or after the transfer.
