Spanish authorities have ordered the assassination of the dog of the Ebola infected female nurse, due to safety reasons. Her husband, who has also been admitted to quarantine ward of a hospital because of infection risk,started an Internet campaign with tens of thousands of supporters. “Our dog is alone in the apartment and has food and water. It cannot infect anyone,” said the husband to “El País”. 74,000 animal rights activists joined the call in the network, about 50 of them tried to block the apartment when the police approached with a dog kill team.
